“Happy Hour”

On Thurs­day’s, we go to “Happy Hour,” ear­ly in the ev­en­ing, at 5:00 p.m.

I like this par­ty! We get treats, at­tire, and, best of all, peo­ple pay at­ten­tion to us.

We meet and greet.

Where’s ours?

There’s quite a crowd.

How about some for me?

The road goes ever on and on,
down from the road where it began.
Now far ahead the road has gone
and I must follow if I can.
Pursuing it with weary feet,
until it joins some larger way
where many paths and errands meet,
and wither then, I cannot say.
